Swiss Army KnifeThere were two big events this Sunday in the InventHelp Invention Girl’s world – the close of our 2008 INPEX show and (of course) Father’s Day. After spending the afternoon cleaning up the show floor, I finally got a chance to spend some time with Dad and give him this handy new gadget: the SwissMemory.

This isn’t your average Swiss Army knife invention – it’s the first Swiss Army knife that features a USB memory. Plus, it still has a great selection of tool options, including a stainless steel knife, scissors, a file and a screw driver. Or, if your dad is a jet-setter, there’s a version of the knife without these tools that can be carried on airplanes. Both versions include a pressurized pen and a red LED mini light.

The invention is the result of innovative efforts by Swissbit and Victorinox, makers of the original Swiss Army Knife. Available in 2GB, 1GB, or 512MB versions, this handy knife makes a perfect edition to the “pocket stuff” that Dad keeps on his bureau. To make it an extra special gift, the knife can be engraved with a personal message.

InventHelp’s Invention Girl is lucky enough to have a father who’s understanding of how exhausted I am after the whirlwind excitement of INPEX. Thanks for all your help and guidance though the years, Dad – Invention Girl couldn’t have done it without you!
