Dryer Box

It’s happened to the best of us, somehow our phone has gotten wet – either from a spill, a drop, or just plain forgetfulness. InventHelp’s Invention Girl knows the heart wrenching feeling of thinking her beloved phone has kicked the bucket right before her very eyes. Sometimes that old bag of rice trick just doesn’t cut it either.

A device called the Dryer Box (warning: it’s written in Japanese) from JMC Risk Solutions is giving new hope to phones that have taken a swim. Although currently available only in Japan, this gadget can restore your phone to its pre-water state in 30 minutes. The phone treatment costs a mere $12 and the best part is that you’ll only be charged if your device is restored in the 30 minutes. Although JMC won’t share the technology details of this device, InventHelp’s Invention Girl would be more than willing to give this option a shot! I’ll just have to be extra careful with my phone until the Dryer Box debuts in America…

InventHelp’s Invention Girl is curious, what’s the worst water accident your phone has ever endured?
