To continue celebrating its mission of recognizing and fostering inventions, the National Inventors Hall of Fame has announced its 2011 Inductees. The Inventors Hall of Fame 39th Annual Induction Ceremony, sponsored in part by the United States Patent and Trademark Office and the Kauffman Foundation, will take place on May 4, 2011. The Induction ceremony will be held in Washington, D.C. at the Smithsonian American Art Museum’s National Portrait Gallery (formally the historic Patent Office Building).

One of my favorite past times as a kid was coloring. I had my beloved coloring book with me on road trips, at restaurants and on my grandparent’s living room floor. Nothing beat having a fresh box of crayons with each crayon sharp and fully intact. I hated using the stubby crayons and would toss them after they were half used. You could say I was a little picky as a child!

When you order a drink at the bar, you’re usually getting more than you bargained for. Alcoholic beverages contain various impurities that can be hard on the liver, as well as slightly alter the taste of the drink. The priciest alcohol contains some impurities, even if you paid $100 for it!

It’s easy for us women to carry all our necessities and gadgets around with us. All we really need is a large enough purse and we’re ready to go! For guys though, it’s not quite as simple. They can bring whatever fits in their pockets and that’s about it. Men only have a few options: to either ask a female companion to throw some of their things into her purse or decide what items are absolutely crucial.

There was a time when if you wanted to speak a new language you had to either hire a tutor, take a several classes or attempt to teach yourself. InventHelp’s Invention Girl took a few Spanish classes while in school and would still be considered a beginner at the language. It can be extremely difficult to learn and memorize an entirely new vocabulary and how to properly conjugate each word.

Bathrooms can become cluttered very easily; they’re generally pretty small and never seem to have enough storage space. With all of InventHelp’s Invention Girl’s products, my bathroom is quickly becoming overrun by toiletries!

When InventHelp’s Invention Girl goes to the gym, I like to take as few items as possible. Keys, mp3 player and water bottle are definitely my top three choices. Even with so few things, it can be annoying to have to grab them all before going to the next machine. Getting a locker just for my keys seems like a waste and I don’t particularly like the idea of leaving my keys on the hook somewhere in the gym.

InventHelp’s Invention Girl hopes you had a very happy New Year!
Now that winter is in full effect, it’s time to make sure you’ve taken all the necessary steps to stay safe during these snowy and sometimes icy months. The traditional method of labor-intensive shoveling is not something InventHelp’s Invention Girl is particularly fond of. No matter how quick I shovel, the snow seems to instantly pile right back up. Making sure my sidewalks are clear can become a vicious shoveling cycle!
