Thursday, day 2 of INPEX® 2011, kicked off with the show floor opening bright and early at 9 am for business attendees. Walking amongst the inventor booths was the crew from The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Inventors were eager to get in front of the cameras to pitch their inventions in hopes of being included in a future show segment. Excitement from the camera crew’s presence could be heard throughout the show floor!
This morning wrapped up INPEX’s Inventor’s University where Jeff Meltzer, President of Meltzer Media Productions, focused on DRTV topics like what makes a good product and which categories sell best on TV. Read More >>
Today is an exciting day! This morning kicked off the INPEX® 2011 Open Innovation Conference at the Doubletree Hotel in Monroeville and InventHelp’s Invention Girl got to sit in and listen to several influencial speakers. The speakers included top notch open innovation leaders and advanced practitioners from companies including Ideas To Go, Inc., Weyerhaeuser Company, Amway, NineSigmas, as well as several others.
First off, InventHelp and INPEX would like to thank everyone who helped make the 25th anniversary show one to remember. We had a great time and it seems everyone else did as well! We hope you found the seminars, speakers and events useful and interesting. It was great to see the showroom floor filled with enthusiastic inventors who were eager to show off their inventions. This year’s INPEX also had a record number of business attendees (almost 1,100) who were on the lookout for inventions and new product ideas.

It’s an exciting day here at the Monroeville Convention Center, just minutes from downtown Pittsburgh. InventHelp’s INPEX®, America’s largest invention trade show, got underway this morning with a flurry of activity.
Kicking off the event was Michael Planit, President of Product Strategies Inc., who spoke to a standing room-only crowd at the INPEX Inventors University™. Michael covered the basics of direct response television marketing in his presentation, “Is Your Product Right for DRTV?” Next was Jan Goldman, President of LumpyMail.com, who revealed the “Seven Secrets to Marketing Your Invention.”
