A few months ago, InventHelp’s Invention Girl was lucky enough to try Foosh, the caffeinated breath mint. I was recently introduced to Buzz Bites, the caffeinated chocolate bites which is a sister product to Foosh. I love chocolate so I was excited to hear about chocolate that could give me a big boost of energy!

Buzz Bites are chocolate energy chews that have the same amount of caffeine as a cup of coffee (100mg) and come in two flavors: chocolate and mint chocolate. They come in individually wrapped in a small tin with six pieces which make them ultra portable. The texture can be described as chewy, like that of a Tootsie Roll. The flavor of the plain chocolate tastes like regular chocolate at first, and then as you chew you begin to get a little taste of caffeine. The caffeine turns the chocolate slightly bitter, but if you like dark chocolate, then you might not mind that. The mint chocolate bites have the same chocolate taste but with a minty flavor throughout them. With the cost being only 50¢ per serving, they’re much cheaper than coffee or Red Bull!

I passed the Buzz Bites around the InventHelp office and there were various reactions. Most thought the bites were delicious and others thought the taste was a little too strange for them. Either way, everyone agreed that they got an increase of energy after eating just one.
